As in, the two characters have a lot to say and I have this hankering feeling that the voice actors just want to read the long-winded scripts as fast as they can. While the other three original Ghostbusters don’t have voices, they do appear in-game and also as flavour text, riffing over each other when a new random challenge (optional objectives) appeared.īut the voiceovers do feel a little stuffed. There’s a lot of callbacks to the original movie, referencing the aftermath of the story there. The banter between the two are fine, and you’ll get more of it if you’re totally a fan of Ghostbusters.
They will be providing context on what you need to do to get rid of the ghosts haunting the Ghostbusters theme park.
PLANET COASTER DLC MOVIE
You will be dropped in an all-new Ghostbusters theme park template- again, with enough free space to put your own creative spin on.Īs for the disembodied voiceovers, you get to hear Dan Arkoyd and William Atherton, reprising their roles from the original Ghostbusters movie as Raymond Stantz and antagonist Walter Peck respectively. If you’re familiar with that then the DLC is that but Ghostbusters. This new campaign takes a page on Frontier’s other licensed theme park game, Jurassic World: Evolution. Nothing too fancy because the meat and potatoes are the sandbox and challenge modes where you get to do whatever you want. It’s simple, serviceable and it gets the job done. The only pluck of a narrative comes from the flavour text accompanying the start of each career level. The base game has you go to many pre-built, unfinished parks and tasked you on completing simple objectives like build new rides and keep the visitors happy. Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters adds an entirely new campaign separate from the career mode. It’s great!Īs for the Ghostbusters DLC for Planet Coaster? The answer depends. Just like Cities: Skylines did for SimCity, Planet Coaster’s biggest strengths rely on its robust tool to make your very own theme park as detailed and beautiful as your creativity (and PC) allow you. If you’re not familiar – Planet Coaster is Frontier Developments’ modern answer to a Roller Coaster Tycoon successor. That good Ghostbusters game is getting a remaster, and two different games getting DLCs based on it: Rocket League, and the point of this piece writing: Planet Coaster.
PLANET COASTER DLC MOD
the mod tools which they only released a scenery creator, missing ride creator mod tool.Apparently, the owners of the Ghostbusters IP is really pimping out the license around for video game this year. not to mention all the missing stuff group creator being one, the QoL suggestions they completely ignored, the reported bugs they just never cared to fix the bugs they fixed which made more bugs which they dont care about anymore. Game is way ahead of its time and pcs are way behind in time planet coaster should have been put on hold after guest testing and released in the next 3 years or so, its no wonder a theme park sim was never made for so long.
PLANET COASTER DLC FULL
full parks lag on full high end gaming pc's infact its around 10k guests when parks lag and thats on low graphics settings on a friggen rtx 2080ti i can run this game just as well on a gtx 1050 just for comparisson 5fps i got from double the graphics performance processor being the bottleneck but at current time this game is just a building simulator, you cant play the game.
What goofy logic is that? it is cores i have a 16 core processor and planet coster maxes out 1 core then lags to hell, if it could uese them all planet coaster would run flawlessly for almost everyone, the game is optimized to the point of perfection at this point its the AI of all the guests maxing out processor usage, and 10 years assuming they start making a decent planet coaster which your looking at 5 years at least most likely, this game doesnt need more dlc they aint upgrading the engine and current processors are botttlnecked, put it this way either our processors get good enough to handle this game on 1 core meaning a sequel is useless or they start allowing the game to use everything meaning a sequel. Also you, yourself said that you don't think planet coaster isnt getting another sequel in ten years so why hope there is no added DLC? What exactly do you think planet coaster 2 is going to include? Cores isn't even the issue, it's optimization. Originally posted by AetheriaPrism:no i hope it is the end for this game so they can make planet coaster 2 already, this engine is just a travesty until duel core processors become good enough to run it, either they release planet coaster 2 that can use more cores or they give a dev kit to open up the game with mods, gonna be waiting a long while before we get a playable game either way to be honest i dont think we are getting it in the next 10 years
